Interventional Spine Injections
Our physiatrists offer spinal injections to help you deal with your pain. These procedures are done as outpatient in our Portage Clinic for your convenience. Precise needle placement is assured by the use of a fluoroscopic x-ray machine. The injections can help identify spinal structures that could be causing your pain. They are also therapeutic, diminishing the pain intensity or completely eradicating your pain for periods of time.
We use injections to help patients get over their painful episodes quicker so they can resume or continue with their exercises. We rarely offer spinal injections alone but usually in conjunction with other conservative treatments to promote faster healing.
